Master Coach

Sam DeRosa is a multiplatinum artist and songwriter originally from New York, now based in Los Angeles. She cowrote “broken” by lovelytheband, which is a record-breaking, longest-charting song in alt radio history (over 74 weeks). She has since written for Grammy-nominated albums like “Evergreen” by Pentatonix (on which she cowrote the title track, “evergreen”), and prides herself on being a multi-genre songwriter.

DeRosa’s infectious cross-genre earworms include: “Favorite Song” by Jason Derulo; “Feels Right (I Love It)” by Flo Rida; “Satellite” by Bebe Rexha and Snoop Dogg; Dixie’s breakout single “Be Happy;” the Fitz and The Tantrums singles “Moneymaker” and “Steppin on Me;” the Welshly Arms alternative “Learn to Let Go,” and more. Her ballads and work in the DJ world can be heard on the Lukas Graham singles “Happy For You” and “Never Change,” David Archuletta’s recent iTunes no. 1 hit “Hell together,” and on songs like “Finally” by Jonas Blue and “Til the end” by Jonas Blue and Sam Feldt, and The Midnight Kid’s dance chart topper “Those Were The Days (featuring Jared Lee).

As an artist, Sam first appeared on NBC’s SONGLAND with her single “pill for this” which peaked #3 on the iTunes pop charts and #6 globally in 2019. She’s successfully self funded, released and toured her own music since 2020 and just released her 3rd body of work, the “GREENER” EP. She hopes to release her debut album in 2025 while writing with other artists as a songwriter.
