The Orphanage

Producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist duo The Orphanage consist of Trevor Brown and Zaire Koala, who’s talent has gotten them working with some of the biggest names in the music business. And they are beyond excited to join the team of HVS Conservatory! Being able to work with and mentor talented young artists is the latest notch on their belt of successes. And they cannot wait to help the talented artists at HVSC make their own mark on the music industry. 

The Orphanage is best known for their work with Demi Lovato on the hit song “Sorry, Not Sorry”. Along with producing a number of Demi’s songs, they have also produced and co-written songs with artists Alessia Cara, Ella Henderson, Bea Miller, Jordan Fisher, Nico and Vinz, Bebe Rexha and Kid Ink. In 2016 they co-produced Disney’s Moana “How Far I’ll Go”, the title song from their animated hit movie. And Kehlani’s critically acclaimed SweetSexySavage record was another one of their co-productions and has been labeled one of the most important urban pop releases in 2017. Currently, The Orphanage is working with mega stars Kelly Clarkson, Tori Kelly, J Angel, Kehlani, Rachel Platten, Alina Baraz and many more.
